Dear Middletowners, Here we are at another election. What to say? Go on and on and say too much? Try the other way and maybe hardly say anything, playing it safe? SCROLL DOWN About a month ago I thought of that Heading (above), "I'm not the problem. I'm the answer", and maybe that would be a good starting point, SCROLL DOWN because - why do I have to establish that I'm not the problem? Well, because it seems like Middletown thought that I was the problem, from the day I got here - WHY!? WHO SPREAD WHAT LIES AND TO WHOM?IT IS BECAUSE OF A SYSTEMATIC AND ORGANIZED CHARACTER ASSASSINATION (A CONSPIRACY). (BTW, a former councilor told me how he went to the "kiss my grits" diner and started a false rumor, just to see how quickly and far it would spread. IT DID!) Yeah, I know, the term "conspiracy theorist" has a bad connotation nowadays. conspiracy def. "a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful." Conspiracies happen every day, and so, the people who suspect or conclude that those conspiracies occurred, are RIGHT every day! Just because some conspiracy theories are far-fetched products of the weak-minded doesn't negate that conspiracies DO HAPPEN every day. SCROLL DOWN
(Some Further Discussion FACTS and Theories) I often repeat that in 1982 I wrote weekly newsletters and distributed them at sac state univ. That's not a theory. THAT'S A FACT! 100% Confidence. There are more facts involved, which are therefore true and have 100% Confidence level, but then some of the story has to be filled in with likely, or highly probable, explanations. (For example, who did what in 1982 at sac state and in sacramento, and who did what over the years and decades regarding demonizing, sanctioning, and harassing me.) FACT. In 1982, while writing and distributing, I used "THE HUN" metaphor in satiric self-deprecating humor, to defuse the hostility I was experiencing and to get people out of "HATE MODE" so they would just listen to, and consider, what I had to say. And, FACT. Limbaugh came to kfbk radio (a short distance from sac state univ, down Arden Way in Sacramento) over a year later. He started using "THE HUN" metaphor every show for his sign-on "This Is The Great El Rushbo Behind The Golden EIB Microphone in the ATTILA THE HUN CHAIR." 100% certainty he did it. What Is The Confidence Percentage he got the idea from me? I'm guessing it's close to 100% And, if he got THAT idea from me, it indicates he was familiar with my 1982 publications and ALL its ideas. What I did at sac state univ, and the impact it had, and how others there behaved - all this can be easily established with an investigation. Many entities can do this - reporters, radio or tv or internet media companies, historians, universities, etc. It's a fact, but it makes the evil-doers uncomfortable. It's like the assassination of JFK - We STILL DON'T KNOW! IT'S CALLED A COVERUP! I called up the law professor, Jed Scully (no relation), at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento a couple of decades ago. His specialty was Intellectual Property, which is exactly what I'm talking about here - my ideas, what I wrote, how I wrote it had impact far beyond what I ever imagined. I asked him if he could help me recover a copy of the Publications, and his reply was, "those are my friends." THAT should have made it much easier for him to recover a copy, but he was in denial mode. He said I should just re-write it. "Did I think she was pretty?" Yes "How Pretty?" She's Real Pretty. "How Pretty?" Um, I dunno - I guess maybe she might be the prettiest girl in the class. "What's Pretty About Her?"" "Um...Her Face, She Has A Pretty Face" "Why? What's Pretty About Her Face?" "I dunno, it's just Pretty, I can't explain it" Now my sister was on a mission. She got the nun, the Sister, to have the girl sit in the double-seat next to me - or maybe the girl did it on her own, cause probably HER sister was in on this conspiracy now. My sister pestered me to ask her for her phone number. After a day or two of me sitting next to her but not talking to her - just shy, didn't know what to say - at the end of the day, I obeyed my sister's orders and said "what's your phone number?" politics Politicians engage in Character Assassination routinely. Thomas Sowell wrote "The Quest for Cosmic Justice" in 1999, and it was first publishe on January 1, 1999. The book examines the pursuit of absolute equality and argues that it is often counterproductive to achieving true justice. def. "COSMIC JUSTICE" The quest for "COSMIC JUSTICE" - a term coined by the economist Thomas Sowell in his book of the same name - describes the efforts to "MITIGATE THE UNDESERVED MISFORTUNES ARISING FROM THE COSMOS" in pursuit of perfect equality between individuals and groups. "Life Isn't Fair," people say. An example of "Cosmic Injustice" (or the idea that God is unfair to some) would be the "lottery of birth," which means factors beyond our control largely determine our life opportunities and privileges.
